Overview
Satoshi Dice, named after the mysterious founder of the Bitcoin virtual currency, is one of the best-known of all the Bitcoin dice sites. Therefore, it can boast a massive number of players, as well as some seriously large wins. The slightly complex layout might deter some new players, who will probably be more at home at a site like Pocket Dice, however more experienced players will have no trouble here.
Due to the huge success of Satoshi Dice, they have now branched out into offering a full Bitcoin casino, however the dice are still the stars of the show. Only those with an average bet size of at least 0.001 BTC are considered for these prizes though, therefore ruling out all of the lower stakes players.
As you might expect, Satoshi Dice also has a Bitcoin faucet, and it is a pretty generous one – all players are able to get 200 satoshi once every 60 seconds. Many other Bitcoin sites offer around half of this amount, and there are also usually more strings attached.
Support
Unfortunately, support is where Satoshi Dice really falls down, as it isn’t good at all. The FAQ section is a simple collection of just three Q+As, meaning that it won’t help 99% of those with a query. The trouble doesn’t stop there though, as there isn’t an easy way to contact the site either, with no email contact box found anywhere on the main screen. Many people still play at Satoshi Dice despite this though, confident that they’ll have no reason to complain.
Security

Very few complaints are made about the fairness of this site, and the ones that are made are invariably incorrect.
There is no other information readily available about the security at Satoshi Dice, but the fact that so many people play there points to the fact that it’s a safe and secure place to gamble on dice.

Albeit Satoshidice was one of the initial gambling sites, it does not in any way mean that it has stayed great. Its house edge is much higher than the ones you can get pretty much anywhere else that offers dice, though satoshidice does offer promotions (only if you have the bitcoins to wager for them). Other than that, they are lacking.
Satoshidice also does not support users from the US.

Satoshi Dice was my first experience with bitcoin gambling and I was hooked right away! I first picked Sathoshi Dice because of its clean and well designed user interface. It has a very attractive and modern look to it. The user interface is very intuitive and makes it easy to pick your odds with a sliding scale. You will immediately be able to see how your winning chance corresponds to the payout multiplier.
On top of the beautiful design, Satoshi Dice is a well known site and has a long track record of honesty. I have never had any problems with withdrawing bitcoin and the support staff is very responsive. They recently switched to an email based account login instead of using the old URL secret identifier, which makes it impossible to accidentally delete your account.
