MrDice.io is a site purely for dice enthusiasts – there are absolutely no other forms of Bitcoin gambling there to distract players from the game. It’s a simple site, with the majority of the action happening on a single page, and the dice game is also incredibly easy to play – perfect for those making their first forays into the world of Bitcoin dice. It certainly isn’t the busiest Bitcoin dice site around though – as shown by the lack of action in the chat room – and it also has a few glaring problems that need to be addressed, including terrible customer support and a reasonably high house edge of 1.9%
As with many different Bitcoin dice sites, there are no real promotions to speak of at MrDice.io. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though, as it means that all of the bets you make are with your own money – and that any wins are therefore also entirely yours to do with as you wish. According to the FAQs, there is a Bitcoin faucet at the site, however one can’t be found anywhere, suggesting that it has now been removed.
The support at MrDice.io really isn’t up to scratch when compared to other Bitcoin dice sites. The only real way to get answers to any questions is to use the chat feature, however the lack of players at the site means that getting a response often doesn’t happen. There is a Contact page on the site, but clicking on the link to contact them does absolutely nothing. The only other option is to head to the FAQs, in the hope that your question is answered there.
MrDice.io claims to be completely anonymous, however they still ask for an email address when signing up – something that many Bitcoin gamblers won’t like at all. Because there is no effective way to contact the site, any lost usernames or passwords will not be able to be recovered. On the plus side, the site is provably fair, so you can check every roll of the dice to ensure that the site has been honest.
The gambling site MrDice.io can be demonstrated as being provably fair through 3rd party software.

The dice game at MrDice.io really is a mixed bag. The simplicity of the gameplay is certainly a plus point, but this is counterbalanced by the fact that the house edge is pretty high, meaning that you’ll have more chances of winning at other sites out there. It does seem that the site is also slightly neglected, as the Contact form doesn’t work, and the faucet – which is mentioned in the FAQ section – is nowhere to be found.
The dice game at MrDice.io is incredibly easy to use, making it the perfect place for new players to learn the ropes. Simply select the amount you want to bet, select a number, and then choose whether your next roll will be under or over that specific number. It might not be the prettiest dice game to look at, but it does what it needs to do well. Once the roll has been completed, you can then use the information provided on-screen to check that the roll was completely fair and honest.
There are some problems with this game though, and the biggest is undoubtedly the fact that the house edge is 1.9%. This is nearly double the house edge found at some other Bitcoin dice sites, and astronomically higher than 999 Dice which offers just 0.1% house edge! This could heavily impact on the amount you win over a session of playing. The lack of interaction with other players will also be a problem for some players, as the chat room is not used regularly and messages regularly go unanswered. Of course, this could also be seen as an advantage by some players though, who really don’t like the incessant chat at some of the more popular Bitcoin dice sites.
While the actual dice game at MrDice.io is perfectly acceptable, there are various other areas that the site falls down on, including the lack of a faucet, the high house edge, and the fact that the site doesn’t seem to be too cared for. This means that MrDice.io doesn’t compare too favorably with most other sites out there, and that most players will instead head to some of the busier and more professional Bitcoin dice sites open to them.
